Do you still go to the movie theater? .........................................................................................................
I can't remember the last movie l went out to see. I wait till it comes out in VHS and now DVD. I seem to like the comfort of watching movies at home.
Going to the movies is fun, but nothing seems interesting enough to go. One of theses days.
What was the last movie you went to the theater to see?

i like going to the movies i like the air conditioning, the popcorn, raisinettes & the previews i like to see comic book movies on the big screen (superman, batman, esp the spidermans) (i just love toby mcgwire & kirstin dunst) and i love the disney pixar animated ones (monsters inc, bug's life, the incredibles) i love to see almodovars latest and right now i want to see both meryl streep movies
the trash can wait till i rent them on dvd (crappy biopics, all those lame comedies with will ferril and ben stiller, monster in law, etc.)
you know what was really hilarious? (besides the wonderful team america) bad(der) santa!!!!!

I do go to the theater quite often.. but almost always independent theaters... no chains for me! I do agree with Walt about Bad Santa... I plan to see shortly: Prairie Home Companion, Who Killed the Electric Car, An Inconvenient Truth, Lake House

Realistically, the only place for a movie to be seen, in my opinion, is in a movie theater; and whenever I find a film that interests me, I go right out and see it, even if I have to fork over close to $10. Granted, the last time I did this was for UNITED 93, but I'm still apt to look out for ones I'd like.
AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH is one I am anticipating.

I never went to the movies much. Usually I watch them on tv and after buying a vhs and later dvd player I also buy them. I think I haven't seen a dozen movies in a theatre... However, last year I did see 2. "Dear Wendy" and "Manderlay", both in an 'art house'-theatre. Next one I'll see will probably be "Babel" though I don't know when it will run yet, if at all

Once upon a time I used to go quite regularly, but these days hardly ever. It's just more comfortable to watch a dvd at home....no noisy people, no basketball player that sits in front of you so that you get to see more of his bald head than of the movie, no missing that brilliant scene of the movie when you have to go to the loo, no dying for a smoke after sitting in an often uncomfortable chair for over two hours, etc... These days I only wanna go through that for the occasional visit to the opera, even though it mostly ends in disappointment thanks to the current "modern production" disease.

It's rare for me because I have been so lackluster lately. Last in the theatre for me was HP4, and before that I saw Brokeback Mountain. That's all this year so far. Last year I only saw Wallace & Gromit and Constantine.
I will, however, see X-Men 3 in the threatre...I really enjoy theatres, but rarely feel up to it anymore.

I love going to the movies, I think it is the only thing you can do spur of the moment these days when you don't have your kid around.

I use to go to the movie theater about six time a year, on average. Lately I got used to watch movies on DVD also, say one per month.

I'd like to see more films actually...not many good art houses in this city. So it's mostly DVDs for me. I think I missed XMen 3 so it will have to wait too.
