Yes indeed, it was Tom T. Hall.
Songwriter Mark James wrote "Hooked On A Feeling" (a Top 10 for B.J. Thomas in January 1969), and the song that would be Elvis' 18th and (sadly) last #1 hit. Name the title of that[/i] song.

Actually, that last #1 hit of Elvis' was "Suspicious Minds" ("Moody Blue" got into the Top 30, but only in April 1977)
As for the previous question, the answer would be David Bowie.
What was the nickname of the Nashville session crew that worked on Linda's 1970 album Silk Purse?

Actually, the Nashville session crew that worked with Linda in 1970 was called "Area Code 615."
As for this latest question--that backing group for Elvis and others would be the Jordainaires.
Name the Clint Eastwood film whose title theme would give Booker T. and the MGs a #9 hit in January 1969 (Hint: it was not any of Clint's spaghetti westerns with Leone)

"Up On The Roof"
What Dolly Parton song did Elvis almost record in 1974, only to be told by Dolly that she wouldn't give up 25% of the publishing rights to it?

I haven't a clue, but will guess 'I Will Always Love You.' Though Dolly and Porter Wagoner broke up as musical duo 'officially' in 1975, they had one of their biggest hits together though 5 years later-- name the song (hint: it could be an architect's theme song-- maybe .

"Making Plans" (??)
Poco had to change their name from Pogo because the creator of that comic strip character took exception. Who was it?

The creator of Pogo was Walt Kelly, I believe.. (my father knew him)
One of the main factors behind Dylan's 'electrifying' performance at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival was this late great guitarist.. name him

The Thrill is Gone . The Porter/Dolly hit WAS 'Making Plans.' I think the Dylan guitarist was Mike Bloomfield, who played WITH Paul Butterfield then (PB was harmonica player, right?). But I might be wrong there. . . What was the title of King's very important live album from 1964?

Live At The Regal Name the Memphis-based producer responsible for Elvis' landmark 1969 sessions that revived the King's career? (note: it wasn't Elvis' normal producer Felton Jarvis)

I think it was Chips Moman (Elvis producer). The BB King album was Live at the Regal . Name the biggest hit (hint: think vegetables!) produced by Moman for Booker T & the MGs while CM was at Stax.
