Which woman do you think is going to win this year's Wimbledon? Will Venus successfully defend her title? Or will Justine win the only slam that's still missing on her resume? Maybe one of the Russian girls can go all the way, or the super-talented Martina Hingis will surprise everyone with a first grand slam title since her impressive comeback?

You left out Michaella Krajiceck She won the Rosmalen grass tournament this weekend beating Safina. But I opt for Sharapova anyway. I think she's the better grass-player of them all. Maybe Hingis will surpise...

Virtually all the ladies on the list have a realistic chance of winning in my opinion. Justine Henin is clearly the woman in form, but I think that on a grasscourt the hard hitters such as Venus and Sjarapova have a better chance of beating her than on any other surface. I voted for Venus because she has a very postive head to head record against Henin. However, if it was up to me, this lady would win the title.... Gaston

I have to go with Sharapova though she hasn't been playing at her best lately......still on grass, she is always a threat..... Jeff D.

Well, it's Henin vs Clijsters and Mauresmo vs Sharapova in the semis. So, who's gonna play the final, and who's gonna win it? All four can do it, but my bet would be Henin winning a three set final against Sharapova.

Don't know, isn't Kim usually the best of the 2 on grass court? Or is my memory wrong? I think I'll go with Sharapova beating Clijsters in the final, in 2 tie-break decided sets

I voted for Henin-Hardenne because I feel she wants to prove something after she retired from her French Open match.

Voting a bit late, I know . I think Clijsters may win-- if she is healthy. Though Henin-Hardenne may just pull off French/Wimbleton which is hard. I like Sharapova, though wish she had a few more dimensions to her game, but can dominate at Wimbleton. Ed

Don't know, isn't Kim usually the best of the 2 on grass court? Or is my memory wrong? I think they are about even actually (they are 10-10 head to head I think), but in the big events Henin has the edge most of the time. Kim is a great frontrunner, but she can get frustrated (especially against Justine) when things don't go her way. As a result she goes for winners too soon and makes lots of unforced errors. On the other hand, when she's on a roll she's capable of blowing Justine away. In Eastbourne (last tournament before Wimbledon, and played on grass) Justine beat Kim in three sets. Gaston

I like Sharapova, though wish she had a few more dimensions to her game, but can dominate at Wimbleton. Ed She's gonna have her hands full with Mauresmo in the semis. In fact, going on recent form Mauresmo should win. Grass is a good surface for Mauresmo, she can serve and volley a bit and is a pretty crafty player. And Sharapova has been injured for most of the year. In fact, the French Open last month was her first tournament in a while. I nevertheless pick Sharapova to win in a close match because mentally she's much tougher than Mauresmo. In a 4-4 or 5-5 situation, my money would always be on Maria in a match against Mauresmo. Thanks Jeff, I got my events screwed up, Henin should be going for her 3rd Grand Slam then, if not for PMS at the Australian Open.

I think she will get to face Sharapova in this final, Henin is avenging the bad public fallout after the Australian Open, I remember hearing Pam Shriver and Brad Gilbert rip into her for her bowing out of that finals match.

If we would be 100% sure of what would happen there would be no point in watching. Besides, all four of these ladies are top players. They are all capable of beating each other on the day. Gaston

Henin will decimate Sharapova, but I don't think she will win the US Open, that will fall back to Clijsters

Well, congrats must go to Mauresmo, she did it. Terrific win for her and her second slam of the year. I can't believe how Justine's game deteriorated early in the second set after playing really great tennis in the first. She let Amelie back in it. Impressive how she held it together in her last couple of service games when previously she would have lost it at the closing moments of such an important match.
Good match by the way, with alot of variety, plenty of serve and volleying, different spins, great passing shots, etc... Grasscourt tennis like it used to be played in the days of old.
