Okay guys and gals, I'm selling raffle tickets... first prize is a chance to bitch-slap Ann Coulter's boney ass into the next decade. How many tickets can I put you down for? ??

Just let her put her foot up her ass, and let her do it herself!

John Edwards is making a bunch of campaign money off of her little "joke." He put in a "donate to support diversity" or some such link on his election website. So if Ann seriously dislikes Edwards that much, it backfired big time. No one other than severe Coulter dittoheads could possibly support her statement.
That word is only acceptable to me if it's said between friends who understand each other's boundaries.
Why Coulter hasn't been fired yet is beyond me. Is she still making money for the network? Because that's all networks care about. The airwaves are legally supposed to be about public interest but I don't know if that was ever the way they were used.
As for the freak herself, I've been able to mostly avoid her, though the times I've worked in bookstores that hasn't always been an option.

Quote by Andrew: The reason Coulter hasn't been sent off to Purgatory is because she is a "cash cow" (and I don't intend to emphasize the last part of that phrase, since I don't want to insult the milk-making members of our planet here ), and because the far right won't let it happen. Personally, I think conservatives out there ought to be ashamed of idiots like her, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, and their ilk, because those people are f***ing the true conservative cause in the a**. True conservatives like Eisenhower, Goldwater, and Reagan must even now be spinning over constantly in their resting places to see what their movement has turned into.

I think she is very calculating in what she says.. it is merely her job to be outrageous.. see below article from Time Magazine: tinyurl.com/26dvfl

Well if Reagan is a good representative of true conservative, I'm happily staying liberal.
Reagan was a total prick. And I'm not gonna take that back ;-)

To paraphrase Agent Scully, I say we don't give her another minute of our time!

But it does show us the hypocritical nature of the far-right in this country of ours. Coulter can get away with using the word "f*g**t" and hardly anyone bats an eye, but say anything bad about Bush (as Natalie Maines did four years ago), or say that your band is more popular than Jesus (as John Lennon did in 1966), and they go after you with every weapon of mass destruction and deception they can find.

I just think its sad that so many people place so much importance on what the far right or far left have to say.
But as long as everyone else stays in the "silent majority" then these are the sound bites we get.
Talking head columnists and celebrities are the last people who should be relied on for political discourse, when trying to make up one's mind on issues. Educate yourselves on the issues that are important to you is the best way, although obviously not the easiest.
On an off topic item, I see where John Edwards has backed off a debate sponsored by Faux News. On one hand I'd say he's letting them win by offering them up the "why is he scared of talking to us" arguement, but on the other hand maybe all the Democrats running ought to sign on and issue a joint statement saying that they don't wish to give any credibility to Faux News and their one sided "fair and balanced" (lol) journalism by consenting to their debate.

May I therefore recommend the documentary "George Orwell Rolls in His Grave." Fantastic discussion of this very issue. Andrew (far left)

Another must-see is Robert Greenwald's OUTFOXED, which should permanently give lie to Fox's "Fair And Balanced" mantra--more like "Fear And Bulls**t"

MAN COULTER says what most Republican's think and they love her for it. There is no liberal media. A study was posted on one of the blog sites about our so called liberal media and it was proved to be quite the opposite when stories were analyzed.

Whichever way the media wind blows, it behooves us all to remember that the First Amendment is something to cherish. And that necessarily means that everyone has the right to point a 12-gauge down at their feet and pull the trigger. Ann Coulter is just exercising her right to do that one little thing...and boy, is her aim spectacular?!
