Really impossible to pick a worst in my opinion. Jackson's murderous treatment of Native Americans. Polk's lying in creating a smoking gun to get the U.S. into the Mexican/U.S. war. Teddy Roosevelt's imperialism. FDR's internment camps. Woodrow Wilson's persecution of dissenters during WWI. LBJ's Vietnam. Truman's using the nuclear bomb to intimidate Russia. But Ronald Reagan gets my vote for purely personal reasons: he set the political, social, and economic tone for the entirety of my life since I was ten years old. Plus he ignored the AIDS epidemic for the bulk of his presidency. I'm having trouble forgiving him, frankly.

I don't see ANY greatness in Reagan (unless he is contrasted with the Current Occupant)... Reagan completely subverted the classic Republican values of fiscal conservatism and staying free of foreign entanglements by running up a bigger debt than all other Presidents combined and supported a host of murderous fascistic regimes.. his harmful policies are still being felt..
