Maybe someone remembers that I have a special bond to Nigeria. I came back right now from a 3 weeks trip to Nigeria. I both worked and had free time. It has beee an intense and very emotional experience. The Africa I've been in is not the tourist's one. Neither it was the one known by people who work there for the big foreign companies. I lived the life that Nigerians use to live all life long, stayed in tehir houses, worked in their working environments, the only difference being that it lasted only for three weeks. By the way, I went right to those states of the Nigerian Federation that are considered at high risk especially for foreign people, Edo State and Delta State. Those are terrific places in both senses of the word. I'm now officially (and proudly) a member of the Agbassa Clan, then of the Urhobo Nation, that inhabits Delta State. I also took a number of pics, that I'd like to share with you.

Very nice. Not your typical vacation I know there are some problems in that Delta area, but haven't looked into the details. I know a bit more about the north, the Kano region. We have a few refugees here from that region and I got to talk to one of them. Glad you got along so well. Ben Maybe someone remembers that I have a special bond to Nigeria.
