Pictures of ten tennis players in bikini (sorry, I couldn't find any of Federer or Nadal ;D). Which girls do you think are the most sexy, cutest, most beautiful, etc. To not make it TOO difficult you can vote for THREE players.

Most of them look gorgeous (I've always said that women's tennis is the most beautiful game in the world ), but I voted for Kournikova (how can you NOT vote for her), Ivanovic and Wozniacki. In fact, that big Wozniacki photo would make for a great poster . Virtually ALL Kournikova pictures would make for a great poster of course.

Wow Gaston, what a burdon it must have been to search those pics ;D Anyway, Maria Kirilenko, Caroline Wozniacki and Maria Sharapova please I like Ivanovic a lot too but it seems she looks better in a nice tennis outfit or cocktail dress then in a bikini. And Hantuchova, well, as backup if one of the 1st three are injured

Nice work... Have to wonder what Billie Jean, Rosie Casalls and some of the other feminists would think about these pictures lol I'm pretty sure Martina would approve in some respects

True true..but it was all about the game in those days. Chris Evert was the only one that I remotely thought had any sex appeal, but I didn't follow it close enough to know many of the younger players.. Martina was kind of a horse in a skirt, and the rest were either older or butchier looking as I can recall.

Evonne Goolagong was also an attractive girl. And Sue Barker was sorta the British Chrissie for awhile when it comes to good looks.

Don't know about Sue Barker in her tennis carreer, but nowadays she's not so bad looking as a tv host on BBC. When I started noticing female tennis, there were players like Anke Huber and of course Sabine Appelmans and Dominique Monami who were goodlooking (my opinion), though not as glamourous as the current ones. They could have been if they wanted I think, just a bit more make up to the tennis court But in those days it was more about tennis then looks anyway.

I never thought Martina (thin I mean!) was bad looking really, if certainly in butch way . I also think Gabrielle Sabatini and Martina Hingis were pretty cute in their heyday esp. Even Jennifer Capriati in her way. . . I agree about Anke Huber too. . . Ed

Don't know about Sue Barker in her tennis carreer, but nowadays she's not so bad looking as a tv host on BBC. Sue Barker when she played tennis. She was a very good player by the way. She was top 10 for awhile, did win the French Open (Roland Garros) and reached the semis at Wimbledon. When she was on she had at the time the best forehand in women's tennis - a real killer shot. There has always been a need for charismatic players though. Even Billie Jean King realized that when she set up the WTA tour. When Chris Evert as a teenager started to be beat the top players in the early 70's some of the established players resented that and gave her a hard time. Billie Jean King however warned them to "leave the kid alone" because she realized that they needed someone attractive to sell the game and that ultimately everyone on the tour would benefit from the publicity that Evert brought to it. And so it happened. Evert made the cover of important magazines. Her matches - even exibitions, were broadcast live on US television, not an everyday occurence in those days. Thousands of girls (AND boys) copied Evert's two handed backhand which was an unusual shot at the time, and so on. King set up the structures that made the professional tour for women possible, but she needed Evert (and to a lesser degree Goolagong) to make it popular.
