A shame, to be sure. But you always have a reminder of that comic book any time an oldies radio station plays "Sugar Sugar" (which, in this day and age, now sounds as profound as "Can't Buy Me Love" [LOL]).

But you always have a reminder of that comic book any time an oldies radio station plays "Sugar Sugar" (which, in this day and age, now sounds as profound as "Can't Buy Me Love" [LOL]). who knows, maybe the tragedy of Archie's death will get them some sympathy votes for The Archies' induction into the Rock n Roll HOF. the voters seem to be sympathetic these days and after all KISS and their induction set a precedence this year for cartoon bands.

Sugar Sugar was lousy then and still is . Sorry bout Archie though. But maybe Jughead has a chance with Betty now. . . Wouldn't surprise me to see bubblegum groups in RRHOF though. Sadly. But maybe they'll let in some sunshine pop people like Margot Guryan and Spanky and Our Gang then. . .
