I voted for Clara Bow, Mary Pickford and Lillian Gish. All three of them superstars of the 1920's. I think that about seven or eight of these nominees will manage to get in eventually, but since they will get a lot of competition in the years ahead from the early stars of the talkies it would be nice if these and other iconic figures of the silent era would get in as soon as possible.

Went with Bow, Gish and Pickford. Very hard to leave off Mabel Normand and Louise Brooks, Gloria Swanson too. Good list.

I had to include Louise Brooks along with Lillian Gish and Gloria Swanson. She was too fascinating an actress, along with being too far ahead of her time to exclude. Her astonishing performance in Pandora's Box alone confirms her inclusion as one of the great early screen actresses.

That's it I guess. Lillian Gish and Mary Pickford are our first inductees from this category. Great start for sure. Actors nominations coming up.
